2010 Season News
Sept 2010
The MadazMotorsport Mazda RX7 had its first run at a race meeting
for the 2010 Season at the HQ Nationals support races. As there were no
Improved Production races on the schedule the MadazMotorsport Mazda RX7
was entered in the CAMS Group 3D Sports Sedan category but still racing
in full-IP spec. Other than using some very old tyres (over 12mths old)
the MadazMotorsport Mazda RX7 ran faultlessly and displayed excellent
striaght-line speed. All races were finished and the team was rewarded
with a 2nd place outright in Sports Sedans for the event.

So far for the 2009 season the
MADAZ Motorsport team have won outright the July (Clem
Dwyer) race meeting for Improved Production cars and set a PB lap time
of 64.82 seconds around the demanding Barbagallo Raceway circuit. The
improved lap times are a good
sign that the development done so far in 2009 is working well with even
more 10ths still to be taken off the cars current lap times.
